Our regular terms are 30 days end of month for customers who hold an account with us. New customers will be asked for payment by credit card or bank transfer at the time of placing their order until trading terms can be established.

- Our normal lead times are 5-7 days from receipt of your order. Supplying Artwork and Data
- What format should I supply my artwork and how should it be set up?
We would suggest sending us a high-resolution print-ready PDF, with ticks and bleeds. If you need help with this check out our Artwork Guidance page.
If you can’t supply a print-ready PDF the preferred option is an Indesign file. PowerPoint, Word etc are not recommended for high-quality publications.

- When you prepare artwork for printing, always use CMYK. This means you’ll get the best results. We always send you a proof to make sure you are happy with colour conversions before we print.

Sustainable Print
- How can I work out how much carbon is balanced per job?
We can work this out for you, it’s a combination of what we’ve balanced from the printing production process and the amount of Carbon Balanced paper used in your job. We can even issue you with a certificate to show the total amount of carbon you’ve balanced and the rainforest you’ve protected by printing with B&B Press.
- How do I add the Carbon Balanced Print logo to my job?
You can do this two ways, you can supply your artwork leaving space for us to add the logo before we print or we can supply you with a set of guidelines and a unique logo for your graphic designer to use when creating the artwork. We do have a few versions of our logo so you can choose one that complements your design.
- Do I have to use the Carbon Balanced Logo on my job?
We recommend you do but, but we understand you may not want to include the logo on your job for whatever reason, that is completely fine. The job will still be a Carbon Balanced Print job and you’ll still be supporting World Land Trust but no one else will know.
- Is the ink eco-friendly?
The UV inks and varnishes we use are free of harmful volatile organic compounds (VOC’s) and are cured using Ultra Violet light.
All UV inks and varnishes are made from non-toxic, non-mutagenic, non-carcinogenic and non-reproductive toxic raw materials, which are safe in all probable end-of-life scenarios.
UV inks and varnishes also consume less energy in the printing process, eliminating the need for traditional drying systems.
Due to the fact that UV inks and varnishes do not dry without UV light, they are 100% recyclable when they are wet and you do not need cleaning procedures (no need of VOC’s and no creation of waste). The Inks we use also show very good de-inking characteristics, which is important for paper recycling. Therefore, carefully formulated UV inks and varnishes can be recycled when printed on substrates that can be recycled.
- Do you use vegetable ink?
No, the reason we don't is that we choose an ink that dries instantly with the LED UV light on our litho press.
- Do you have active plans for emission reduction?
In line with our ISO 14001 certification and our commitment as a Carbon Balanced Printer, we annually assess our emissions and strive for reductions where feasible. This year, we achieved significant reductions by installing solar panels on our roof, intending to generate 40% of our energy from renewable sources. You can find further details about our sustainability efforts in our sustainability story, which you can read here, including our next steps.
Scope 3 emissions are the most challenging to record, we are currently reviewing this, focusing on improving both data collection methods and reduction strategies. Assessing and enhancing our supply chain is a priority.
