  • Identifying and resolving issues quickly to minimise downtime and keep production moving.
  • Carrying out routine machine maintenance and basic troubleshooting.
  • Working closely with colleagues across production and finishing to meet deadlines.
  • Maintaining a clean, safe and organised working environment.
  • Supporting other areas of the finishing department when required.

What we're looking for

Ideally, you'll have:

  • Relevant experience: Previous experience setting up and operating Muller Martini saddle stitching equipment or similar high-speed binding machinery.
  • Print industry knowledge: A good understanding of commercial print production and finishing processes.
  • An eye for detail: The ability to spot quality issues and make adjustments to ensure a consistently high standard of work.
  • Problem-solving skills: Confidence in troubleshooting machinery issues and keeping production running efficiently.
  • A positive work ethic: Someone reliable, organised and comfortable working to production deadlines.
  • A team-focused attitude: A willingness to support colleagues and get involved wherever needed.
  • Flexibility: The ability to work a rotating two-shift pattern.

What you'll get in return

  • £33,700 annual salary
  • Full-time, permanent position
  • 40-hour working week with a structured rotating shift pattern
  • Company pension scheme
  • Generous holiday allowance
  • Opportunities for overtime
  • Opportunities to develop your skills and progress within the business
  • The chance to be part of an established, supportive team
